Seraphim, Second Life’s™ premier shopping resource, is proud to announce that it will be hosting SeraPRIDE on June 18th to raise money for Rainbow Railroad. This event will be a celebration of LGBTQIA+ pride, diversity, and acceptance, and will be held at the SeraSim on the Second Life™ platform.
Rainbow Railroad is an international nonprofit organization that works to help LGBTQIA+ individuals facing persecution escape to safety. Since 2006, Rainbow Railroad has provided direct assistance over 7500 people who are facing violence and discrimination in their home countries. Rainbow Railroad has helped thousands of LGBTQIA+ individuals find safety and a new home in countries that accept them for who they are.
SeraPRIDE will feature a silent auction, live music, virtual dance parties, a drag competition, custom-designed entertainment, and a special themed vendor area where users can purchase digital items to support the cause. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Rainbow Railroad to help support their ongoing work.
